Shipping Policy / Delivery of Goods

Products purchased from Better Buy Batteries are shipped via FedEx, UPS, or USPS (the carrier is determined by Better Buy Batteries). The delivery time is dependent on the shipping method you select during the checkout process (standard shipping typically ranges from 1 to 5 business days).

Better Buy Batteries strives to dispatch orders on the same day they are placed, provided the order is made before 3 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday.

Once your order has been transferred to the carrier and leaves our facility, Better Buy Batteries is no longer responsible for its care or delivery. The responsibility for safely delivering products in a timely manner falls upon the carrier. If you receive damaged or defective items that you believe are the fault of Better Buy Batteries, please contact our return department for assistance.

Return / Refund Policy

We recommend verifying your order to ensure it is correct. If you have any questions, please contact us before placing your order.

Returns and refunds for products purchased from Better Buy Batteries are subject to our sole discretion. For more information on our return and refund policies or to determine if your product(s) are eligible for return/refund, please reach out to our Return/Refund Representatives.

In cases where a customer orders the incorrect product(s) and decides to return them, only the cost of the product(s) will be refunded, less shipping and handling charges.

(Better Buy Batteries does not cover the return shipping costs for mis-ordered products.)

Products damaged due to misuse, abuse, or regular wear and tear will not be accepted for return or refund. In the event of a manufacturer defect, Better Buy Batteries' Return/Refund Representatives will either issue an appropriate refund or provide manufacturer contact information. If you receive an incorrect order or have ordered the wrong product, please contact our Return/Refund Representatives within one week of receiving the items. If product damage is directly attributable to Better Buy Batteries , please report the damage within one week of receiving the items to qualify for a refund.

Better Buy Batteries reserves the right to decline returns for any reason.

 

USPS Shipping Regulations

 

The USPS considers AA, AAA, C, and D alkaline batteries to be non-hazardous and doesn't restrict their shipping. You don't need to follow any special packaging or shipping processes for these batteries. However, there are some general guidelines for shipping batteries:

  • Only small batteries (up to 9 grams) can be shipped through USPS. Larger batteries must be shipped through a different carrier such as FedEx or UPS.
  • Each battery must be individually wrapped or placed in its own protective sleeve.
  • The outer container must be labeled with the appropriate markings, including the battery type, watt-hour rating, and handling instructions.
  • The best way to ship batteries is to keep them in the original, manufacturer-sealed packaging. If batteries are not sealed in manufacturer packaging, the battery terminals should be protected to prevent short circuits. For example, you can cover the terminals with tape or place them in separate bags.
